Chair or Mobile Table Massage

Chair massage provides effective stress and tension relief in a convenient, ergonomic chair. Mobile table or chair massage therapy is great for homes, workplaces, wellness events, assisted living facilities, and corporate breaks. Performed over clothing for added comfort. Assisted Stretching

Assisted stretching is beneficial for not just athletes, but also for anyone seeking an increased range of motion and stress relief. The stretching session is excellent partnered with a massage therapy session to enhance the benefits that you are looking for. 

Note: it is best to wear loose-fitting or comfortable clothing to stretch in.

Red Light Cupping Therapy

Red Light Cupping Therapy with Near-Infrared Light reduces pain and accelerates the healing of damaged tissue and ligaments, facilitating musculoskeletal injury recovery. Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from surgery, and strengthened resistance to illness.

National Provider Information

For Medicaid and Medicare or Insurance coverage, a prescription is typically required for treatment and reimbursement!  Please first speak with your primary care provider to prescribe Massage Therapy for your specific condition(s), refer to using my NPI information: 1528891553 (JESSICA BIRD LMT, MBA) as your provider, using Utah LMT license number: 11499140-4701.

Your insurance provider can inform you whether massage therapy is an approved service under your specific plan. If it is, you may want to double-check if massage is coverable by a (massage therapist). Some plans require that minor muscle manipulation massage be performed by a physical therapist, occupational therapist, chiropractor, nurse, or other. Just because an insurance company offers massage as a plan benefit does not necessarily mean your insurance will cover a full session. 

In some cases of auto accidents and worker’s comp, it may also be necessary to be in regular contact with a case manager regarding your services as they may be assigned to oversee the type of care allowed under your plan.
